On Track!
I always say movement and fitness are what keeps me sane. I am one of those people who cannot sit still for long periods of time, something that drove one of my previous managers crazy back when I was still in corporate.
Imagine being in excruciating pain to the point you cannot do the simplest things like getting out of bed, sitting down comfortably to watch TV, or get some work done not even exercise. Imagine being told to wear a neck brace for six whole weeks and basically suspend movement altogether. Once again my body being the boss of the situation and forced me to unwillingly slow down.
The hardest part of all this was the thought of not being able to go to exercise let alone teach fitness classes, it just broke my heart.
Now that I have been back for almost 4 weeks, IT FEELS SO GOOD!! My body and mind were craving movement. Even in the midst of the COVID lockdown, I never stopped moving and most of my students kept going strong too.
